Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts, diced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 60 gr. by Maizena
  • 1 teaspoon of baking powder
  • a little pepper, oil for frying
  • 80 gr. sugar
  • 250 ml. chicken broth
  • 25 gr. cornstarch
  • the juice of 1 lemon
  • 3 slices of lemon
  • 30 gr. of oil
  • some pineapple juice
  • a pinch of salt

Preparation

  1. Marinate the chicken with the soy sauce and the teaspoon of salt and reserve it in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

  2. To make the batter for the chicken batter, we beat the eggs together with the cornflour, yeast and a little pepper. We smear the chicken pieces in this mass.

  3. Now we fry the chicken in hot oil until it is golden on all sides. We remove it to a source with absorbent paper to remove excess oil.

  4. Prepare the lemon sauce by mixing the sugar, the chicken broth, the 25 grams of cornstarch, the lemon juice, the oil and a splash of pineapple juice. We salt a little and mix the sauce well in a saucepan or deep frying pan over low heat until it reaches the boiling point.

  5. Then we add the chicken and the lemon slices, mix well and cook for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
