There are still some holidays and family celebrations. If you have to prepare the dessert, try this very simple and fast Easy jijona nougat flan. It does not need an oven and the mixture is ready in less than 10 minutes. Then it's just a matter of letting it cool and… that's it! A rich Christmas-flavored dessert prepared in a very short time.
Crush the nougat with the help of a mincer, a knife or even a kitchen roller. Reserve.
In a saucepan, add the milk, the cream, the sugar and the two envelopes of curd. Stir well and heat.
Once it starts to boil add the nougat that we had chopped and mix well. Lower the heat and stir until the nougat dissolves and there is a fairly homogeneous mixture. I usually help myself with a spatula or spoon to undo the lumps against the walls of the saucepan, even so it is normal that there is some lump of the almonds from the nougat.
Pour into a flan or sponge cake mold and chill in the fridge for a few hours until set.
It can be left in the fridge overnight.
