The mojito is usually one of the most refreshing drinks of the summer, but do you know that we can not only prepare the mojito as a drink? Today we are going to prepare a delicious mojito ice cream what are we going to do with alcohol for the elderly and without alcohol for the little ones in the house, so that they too can enjoy a most refreshing ice cream.

Learn how to prepare a homemade mojito ice cream in a very simple way. We even have a version for children without alcohol

Ingredients

  • 3 lemons
  • 3 limes
  • 500 gr of lemon ice cream
  • 15-20 mint leaves
  • 1 glass of aged rum (to prepare it with alcohol)
  • 50 grams of brown sugar
  • Lime zest for garnish

Preparation

  1. Place the lemon ice cream with the lemon juice and limes, rum, sugar and chopped mint in a bowl. Mix everything in the mixer for about 30 seconds so that everything is well unified. Once you have the mixture ready, put it in the freezer for a couple of hours, and stir.

  2. Put it back in the freezer for another couple of hours, and it will be perfect for you to eat.

  3. For children, we make the same type of ice cream but without adding rum, they will love the taste of lemon and mint.

  4. Serve both with a touch of lime zest, because it is perfect.
