Halloween special boiled eggs

Preparation

1. For the stuffed eggs: We put the whole eggs in a saucepan with cold water and boil them for 10-15 minutes until they are hard. We wash them with cold water and let them cool. Then we peel them and cut them in half.

2. We carefully remove the yolks and crush them on a plate with a fork.

3. We shred the tuna. Mix the tuna and the yolks in a bowl. We add mayonnaise and / or ketchup to get a creamy paste.

4. We fill the empty whites with the previous preparation. We decorate with the split olives in the shape of a spider as we see in the photo or, where appropriate, simulating the eyes of the devil. The red pepper helps us to create the horns.

5. We get the whole eggs. To get the ghosts, we cook the eggs as indicated in step 1. Once cool and peeled, we make incisions at the site of the eyes, nose and / or mouth, carefully and with a small sharp-pointed knife. Obviously, the size of that hole must be according to the ingredient that we are going to use (whole, stuffed or split olive)

6. And finally, the eggs with a spider web. To stain the water we can use frozen blueberries or beets. First we start to boil the eggs as usual, but with the “color ingredient” in the water. When most of the cooking time has passed, we remove the eggs from the water and carefully crack them by hitting the shell with a spoon, and then return them to the colored water, no longer boiling. Let them soak until they cool down before peeling them.
