Homemade flan is one of the kings of desserts. With cream or in pajamas, it is a children's favorite, but they may not have tried its ice cream version. Finger licking good, especially if you also serve it with whipped cream, caramel or some fruit.

Ingredients

  • 500 ml. milk
  • 250 ml. whipping cream
  • 5 eggs
  • 100 gr. sugar
  • Caramelo

Preparation

  1. We start beating the eggs with the sugar with some rods until they mount a little. We temper the milk and cream and mix it with the eggs.

  2. Pour the cream into flaneras and cook for 30 or 40 minutes at 160 degrees in a bain-marie in the oven until set.

  3. While still hot, beat the flan with an electric mixer and let it cool to room temperature.

  4. We put it in the fridge and then we put it in the freezer, stirring from time to time until it becomes like ice cream.
