Pasta with salmon, to lick your fingers

Do your little ones like pasta carbonara? If you are used to always preparing it in the same way, I encourage you to make a change. The pasta that we have prepared for today is special since, instead of adding the typical bacon, it is accompanied by smoked salmon. Delicious!

It is a good way to introduce the fish in a first course that, without a doubt, the little ones will appreciate.

  • 200 gr. pasta ribbons
  • 1 small carton of cream
  • 1 envelope of grated cheese
  • 200 gr. smoked salmon
  • A pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 small onion
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Sal Island
  • Black pepper
  1. We cook the pasta in a pot for the time indicated on the manufacturer's bag. It is important that we leave the pasta al dente so that it is perfect.
  2. While we cook the pasta, put two tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and add the finely chopped onion.
  3. When we see that the onion is almost transparent, we lower the heat and add the cream and grated cheese.
  4. We stir everything well so that the ingredients mix. We add the nutmeg and pepper.
  5. We mix.
  6. At the end when we notice that the sauce has consistency, we add the smoked salmon in small cubes and stir everything over a very low heat.
  7. Refresh the pasta and drain it. Then add it to the pan with all the ingredients. Stir for a few minutes so that it acquires all the flavor and serve it warm. If you like grated cheese, once served, you can add a little more.
