- 1kg of prawns
- 250gr of wheat flour
- 200 ml of beer
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of chemical yeast
- Olive oil
It is a special breaded prawn recipe, as a tempura, and it becomes a very simple, fun and tasty way to prepare some prawns.
We peel the prawns, and we remove the entire shell, including the head, leaving the tail with the peeling. we keep them and we reserve them.
We prepare the tempura dough. For it, In a bowl we put the flour, the beer, the egg, the tablespoon of salt and the chemical yeast. The beer will help in the rising of the dough along with the yeast.
We bathe each of the prawns in the tempura. We take them with our hands by the tail and bathe them well without getting the tail wet.
Then we put plenty of oil in a pan and let it get quite hot. We are frying them in small batches so that the oil does not get cold during frying.
After about 30 seconds, when we see that they are browning, we remove them and let them drain on an absorbent paper.
Accompany them with your favorite sauce.
