Sicilian caponata, sauce and garnish

To the Spanish, the word caponata will sound more like a chicken name than an Italian recipe. The caponata is Vegetable stew typical of Sicilian cuisine and very similar to other Mediterranean cuisine how are the ratatouille or ratatouille.
