Sweet potato It is a very popular dessert in Argentine cuisine and is also very delicious. Although we can find it made from the factory, I recommend doing it at home with natural products, so we will avoid the consumption of preservatives and other products with which the large factories prepare them.

Ingredients

  • 300 grams of sugars
  • a kilo of sweet potatoes
  • a cinnamon stick
  • three eggs
  • 2 small lemons.

Preparation

  1. First we peel and cut the sweet potatoes, and then cook them.

  2. Once cooked, we pass the sweet potatoes through the blender and reserve, with the sugar we make a syrup and add the lemon zest and the cinnamon stick.

  3. Once done, mix the sweet potato puree with the syrup and the egg yolks, with the whites we will make a meringue.

  4. Once everything is well mixed, we grease a mold with butter and place the mixture in the fridge.

  5. When this is done, remove from the mold and add the meringue.

    If it doesn't set, you'd better use a little neutral gelatin. This way you make sure it sets.
