Scary and fun cake pops! With this compilation of our 5 best cake pops I want to show you how easy they are to prepare, because you can use ingredients that you normally have at home. The inside of the cake pops are made of cupcakes or sobaos with a special touch of Nutella or Nocilla, the cream that you like the most. Do not miss how to make them step by step and above all, how to decorate them. Ahh do not miss also our Halloween recipes, where you can see everything we have prepared for this dark night.

Preparation

To prepare them we have to have several elements. One of them are cake pops sticks that work much better and hold the cake pops without breaking them. You can find them at any creative confectionery store. If you don't have the option to buy them, they can serve you skewer sticks. Another element that you have to have is white cork or polystyrene to be able to place each of the cake pops and click on it.

Once we have these two elements, we started with our cake pops.

The first thing we have to think is the number of cake pops we are going to make. For about 20 cake pops, you will need about a dozen sobaos or muffins. Crumble the sobaos with your hands until they are crumbs and leave everything in a bowl. Add the Nutella or the Nocilla to the crumbs. (For every three tablespoons of crumbs, add one tablespoon of Nocilla or Nutella). Stir everything so that the chocolate cream is well incorporated into the cream, help each other until you form a completely homogeneous ball with the dough.

Take a tray, and cover it with greaseproof paper. With the help of a spoon, go forming the balls with the dough, all of the same size, and go placing them on the baking paper without sticking some balls to each other. When you have them all assembled, put the tray in the fridge for at least an hour and a half so that the dough stays hard and we can puncture it with the sticks afterwards.

Once this time has passed, Take out the cake pops, pierce them with the skewer and decorate them as we show you below.

1. Frankenstein cake pops Halloween

Following in the footsteps of the dough, make these cake pops a little more square. Once you have them, melt the white chocolate chips in a bain-marie or microwave and once you have it melted, add a few drops of green food coloring. Dip each of the Frankenstein heads on the green cover and once you have them, let it cool by clicking the cake pops on the white cork.

Melt the milk chocolate in another container and once the first layer of "green chocolate" is dry, pass the cake pops through the milk chocolate again. Do not wet them whole because it will be the head of our Frankenstein. Let it dry again and then with the help of a brush decorate to put eyes and scars.

2. Little bats

Place a few fine pieces of chocolate on the sides of the cake pops, which will be the wings of our bats. Once you have them, gently roll the cake pops through the melted milk chocolate. Let them dry and put eyes on it.

3. Skulls

Dip the cake pops in melted white chocolate. Let them dry and with the help of a toothpick or a brush, paint the eyes and mouth.

4. Funny vampires

Follow the same steps as with the Frankenstein but instead of green chocolate, the first layer is white chocolate. Let it dry and apply a second just on top of the milk chocolate cake pop. Let it dry again and finally, decorate with the help of a brush or toothpick.

5. Mummies

Pass the cake pops through the white chocolate and let them dry once they are completely covered. Fill a pastry bag with a small nozzle with the white chocolate liquid and once we have the dry cake pop, decorate it around with small strips. Let them dry again and finally decorate the eyes with a toothpick and milk chocolate.
