Another simple dish that we can prepare with the little ones: a spinach and anchovies cake. Simple to prepare and good for the whole family.
What will take us the longest will be to clean the anchovies because the rest is very simple: sauté the vegetable and make the layers in a baking dish. To do the latter, the children will surely help you.
After 30 minutes of baked we will have our cake ready to take it to the table.
Anchovies and spinach cake
A cake with anchovies and spinach, made in the oven, that the little ones will also like, especially if they help us make it.

Ingredients
- 400 g of fresh anchovies
- 400 g spinach
- 50 g of grated cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 cebolla
- Chopped parsley
- Some breadcrumbs
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Sal Island
- Pepper (optional)
Preparation
We clean the anchovies and reserve them.
Blanch the spinach and drain it very well.
Finely chop the onion and poach it in a frying pan with a drizzle of olive oil. Add the spinach and sauté them with the onion. We take out our vegetables by putting them in a bowl.
When it has cooled a little, add the two eggs, the parsley and the grated cheese. We mix everything well.
We put oil in the base of the container where we want to make our cake (it has to be an oven-safe container). We put the anchovies, in this case with the skin down.
We put on them the spinach that we have just prepared (with the onion, the beaten egg ...).
And we ended up covering that mixture with another layer of anchovies, this time with the skin facing up.
Cover with the breadcrumbs and a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
Bake at 180º (preheated oven) for approximately 30 minutes.
We serve hot.
