We go there with a traditional sweet. Some macerated apple rings, battered and fried to enjoy as a family.
We are going to marinate them in a mixture of white wine, sugar and lemon, but don't worry about the alcohol in the white wine because it will evaporate with the heat of frying. To dishearten the apples I have used the utensil that you see in this other recipe.
That you have no apples? Well, substitute them for pears or even for peeled and chopped bananas. This recipe is a good choice for take advantage of that fruit that is being forgotten in the fruit bowl.

Ingredients
- 5 large golden apples
To marinate the apples
- The lemon juice of 1
- 80 g of white wine
- 1 or 2 tablespoons of sugar
For the batter:
- 2 eggs
- 150 g flour
- 150 milk
- 1 teaspoon yeast
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
Preparation
Peel the apples, core them with the appropriate utensil and cut them into slices.
In a bowl we put the lemon juice, the white wine and the sugar. We put the apple already chopped in this mixture and let it marinate for a few hours in the refrigerator, covered with film. From time to time we stir carefully so that all the rings take on flavor.
After those hours of maceration, we put the eggs in a bowl and beat them. We add the flour, milk, yeast and sugar.
Mix everything well until there is a slightly thick, homogeneous dough without lumps.
We put on the fire a pan with plenty of sunflower oil to fry. We pass an apple ring through the mixture and put it in the oil.
We put several rings in the pan in each batch.
We carefully turn them over when they are golden brown at the base. Once golden on both sides we remove them to a plate covered with absorbent paper.
We serve the apple rings hot or cold.
