A rich chocolate cake and cookies that does not need an oven. Much like a gypsy arm, with chocolate and a touch of coffee. If the cake is for children, you can change the mixture of coffee and cognac for milk with soluble cocoa.

Ingredients

  • 200 g of chocolate fondant
  • 30-40 rectangular cookies
  • 300 g whipped cream
  • 100 ml of coffee
  • 50 ml of cognac (optional)
  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • Chocolate noodles

Preparation

  1. Melt the chopped chocolate, in a water bath, with 2 or 3 tablespoons of water. Beat the yolks with the sugar until fluffy. Add the melted chocolate, mix well and incorporate the whites mounted until stiff.

  2. Next, mix the coffee with the brandy; Lightly bathe the cookies in this mixture and cover with part of them the base and the walls of a rectangular mold greased with butter. Make alternating layers of chocolate mousse, cream, and cookies.

  3. Leave it in the fridge for about 6 hours before removing it from the mold. Garnish with the chocolate noodles and serve with whipped cream, if you feel like it.
