If you like rice pudding and you are passionate about chocolate, you have to try the recipe that we show you today: basmati rice with milk and chocolate fondant.
I leave you all the steps to follow to prepare it in Thermomix. What do you not have this kitchen robot? Nothing happens, you can also do it with a simple saucepan.
The secret in both cases is add sugar and chocolate when the rice has a few minutes left to cook.
Here is a link to a quick recipe: rice pudding in a slow cooker. If you want to make it chocolate, add the chocolate when you open the pot (when it has lost pressure but the rice is still hot) and stir. If you consider it necessary you can cook a few more minutes but without a lid.
Basmati rice with milk and chocolate in Thermomix
We are going to use basmati rice and chocolate fondant to prepare a delicious dessert

Ingredients
- 1 liter and a half of semi-skimmed milk
- 200 g of rice
- The peel of 1/2 lemon, only the yellow part
- 135 g brown sugar
- 2 large ounces of fondant chocolate
Preparation
We fit the butterfly into the blades of the glass. Put the milk, the rice, and the skin of the half lemon inside the glass. We program 45 minutes, 90º, left turn, speed 1.
Remove the skin from the lemon (it has already done its job and we can discard it).
Add the chocolate and sugar.
We program 10 minutes, 90º, left turn, speed 1.
And we already have it ready.
We distribute in small bowls if you are interested in preparing individual portions. Another option is to put it in one or two large containers.
Let cool first to room temperature and then in the refrigerator.
Before serving we can put grated chocolate on the surface.
If you do not have a Thermomix you can make the rice pudding as you are used to doing it. When the rice is practically cooked, add the chocolate and sugar and continue mixing.
