Bolo de bolachas: Portuguese biscuit cake

This is the typical Portuguese biscuit cake (bolo) (bolachas) which is exquisite. Usually made in a mold flower-shaped (I do not know why but it is very attractive). Otherwise, it is quite similar to the one we make in Spain, but the buttercream gives it a super special touch. I do not know if it will be the authentic recipe, although when I have made it it is quite similar to the one I ate in Portuguese lands. If you know any variant or trick or if you are from the neighboring country, share it with us! Thank you!
