Herb bread: For a romantic meal

If you add a homemade bread to a romantic homemade meal, a round meal. If you have bakery, this recipe is a piece of cake (well, and handmade will be too). It is ideal to accompany any dish, but also for sandwiches or toasts. I have put dried provencal herbs but what herbs would you put on it?

Ingredients

  • 250 ml of warm water
  • 30 ml of aceite oliva
  • 1 level teaspoon of salt
  • 500 g of bread flour
  • 5,5 g dry baker's yeast (1 sachet)
  • Dried Provencal herbs to taste

Preparation

  1. If you have a bread maker, it will be enough to put all the ingredients in the tray of the machine. Program a basic bread cycle, medium toast.

  2. Once the program is over, unmold and remove the blade to knead the base.

  3. Let cool on a rack.

  4. In a deep salad bowl, put the flour, salt and herbs; make a central hole and place the yeast diluted in the warm water in it and spray with the oil.

  5. With a wooden spoon, beat the ingredients from the center.

  6. Little by little we must incorporate the flour on the sides until we form a consistent dough (with which we can make a ball).

  7. Sprinkle with flour if it is too loose. With floured hands, take it out and place it on a clean and floured work surface.

  8. Hit it several times on the table to make it light and knead. Put it back in the fountain. She covers with a cloth and lets rise for about an hour (she has to double the volume).

  9. Knead again, and transfer it to a rectangular mold like the plumcake one.

  10. Let rise again for half an hour. It makes a cut in the upper part along the lake (this way we help to remove the air and it is also more aesthetic).

  11. Bake in a preheated oven at 200ºC for about 20-25 minutes or until golden.

  12. Remove from the oven, unmold on a tray and let cool on a wire rack.
