600 gr of desalted cod (better if they are crumbs)
1 cebolla great
300 gr wheat flour
3 large eggs
150 grams of butter
300 ml water
2 tablespoons baking powder

Preparation

We put the cod to soak the night before, then we throw away the water and remove the skin and bones. If we have cod crumbs, we don't need to do this process.
In a bowl, mix the crumbled cod with the eggs, flour, water, yeast, butter, and salt. Stir well, and add the finely chopped onion, until the dough is smooth and thick.
With the help of our hands, we make balls and heat the oil in a pan.
When the oil is hot, add the balls one by one and fry them until golden. Once they are, we take them out and drain them on an absorbent kitchen paper.
If we want to impress even more at home, we can serve them with a little cane syrup, because the contrast is delicious.
