The quiche is a savory pie with shortcrust base, which we can fill with what we like the most, but its preparation always comes with mixed milk and eggs, with the ingredients that we want. Today we are going to prepare it with bacon and leek and it remains… Delicious !!

Ingredients

  • 1 pack of shortcrust pastry
  • 180 gr of canned mushrooms
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 2 leeks
  • 1 garlic clove
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 gr of grated cheese
  • 250 ml of liquid cream for cooking
  • Water
  • Sal Island
  • Pepper

Preparation

  1. Line a mold with the shortcrust pastry, remove the excess and bake at 180 degrees for 12 minutes. After that time, we reserved.
    Chop the bacon and fry it in a pan without oil. Add the chopped leeks and garlic, along with the whole mushrooms. We cook for 10 minutes. We transfer everything to a container and add the eggs, with a little salt and pepper. Stir and add the cream. We keep stirring and sprinkle the grated cheese.

  2. We spread the mixture over the baked shortbread and put it to cook in the oven at 180 degrees for 20 minutes.

  3. Once we see that the quiché has been done, we let it rest for about 5 minutes and we serve it.
