Candied fruit muffins

Three Kings Day is approaching but not all of us have done the famous roscón. Some of us have chosen to make these candied fruit muffins. It is a simpler, faster version and above all with which it comes out much less.

When the families are large and you have a lot of time, it is great to make a roscón de Reyes at home. There is nothing as exciting as watching the masses rise and rise. But when families are small or time is running out on us, we can use recipes like today's with fewer ingredients and they are done in no time.

The good thing about this recipe is that we can add the candied fruits that we like the most. In my case, I have added pineapple and papaya that will give the muffins a more tropical touch. Another combination that also looks great is orange and cherries. More traditional but just as delicious.

With these amounts, 6 muffin of candied fruits but if you want you can use a mold to make mini cupcakes with which you will get many more units. Remember that the cooking time will be reduced to about 10 or 15 minutes.
