- 30g cornstarch flour

- 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons of icing sugar
Preparation
- We start by preparing the pastry cream. In a small saucepan, add the 250 ml of milk, the 2 egg yolks, the 30 g of cornstarch, the tablespoon of vanilla extract and the 70 g of sugar. We beat well and bring it closer to the fire from the kitchen.
- We will put the medium high heat so that it begins to heat up and when it gets hot we lower it to a minimum. We must continually stir until we see that thicken the cream, It will take a few minutes, you have to be patient. When it thickens, remove it and let it cool.
- We spread the puff pastry. It is usually presented in a square shape. With the help of a ruler we can cut rectangles. In my case they have a measure of 16 cm x 12 cm.
- We put the pastry cream in the center of each rectangle and elongated. We close the edges of the cake, we can help ourselves with a little water. We will turn the reeds so that the part closed below is left.
- In a small bowl, beat the egg together with the two tablespoons of sugar and apply it with a brush on the surface of each cane.
- We put the reeds in the oven 200 ° for 10 minutes. We will observe that they are ready when they swell and are golden.
