This recipe is super simple and is another very original way of fill your sandwich It consists of creating a Philadelphia-type cheese-based cream, where we will add grated carrot and some spices that will give it a special touch. Ingredients
- 8 slices of white or whole wheat bread
- 2 medium carrots
- 200 g of cream cheese type Philadelphia
- 1 pinch of salt and pepper
- 1 pinch of grated nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon finely chopped parsley
- 1 pinch of ground cumin
Preparation
You have to grate the carrot well. We clean the carrots well and grate them on a grater. If preferred, a robot can be used. In my case I have used Thermomix, I have introduced the sliced carrots into the glass and I have programmed it for 4 seconds at speed 6.
We place the grated carrot in a bowl and add the cream cheese. We go around a couple of times.
Keep adding the pinch of salt and pepper, the pinch of cumin powder, the teaspoon of chopped parsley and the pinch of grated nutmeg. We remove everything well.
Prepare the slices of bread and fill them. We can serve by splitting the sandwiches in half in the shape of a triangle or dividing it into four parts making small triangles.
This cream also serves to cover small stale bread biscuits.
