Ingredients

  • 150 gr. Philadelphia or Roquefort cheese
  • 150 gr. peeled and chopped walnuts
  • 1 chive
  • 100 gr. of butter
  • 175 gr. Of flour
  • 100 ml. milk
  • Nutmeg
  • Sal Island

Preparation

  1. Sauté the chives first in the butter with a little salt until it becomes very tender.

  2. Then we add the flour and sauté for a couple of minutes. Now we add the milk, the nutmeg and a little more salt.

  3. When the dough is well blended, add the cheese and let the dough cook a little longer. Add the chopped walnuts and simmer until the dough thickens.

  4. We reserve it, let the dough cool and curdle before preparing the croquettes, breading and frying them.
