Chow mein with prawns, Chinese cuisine at home

Ingredients

  • 300 gr. noodles or Chinese noodles
  • 200 gr. shrimp
  • 1 cebolla
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 Zucchini
  • Carrots 2
  • soy sauce
  • ginger

El chow mein It is a recipe based on noodles or fried chinese noodles and to what You can add various ingredients such as vegetables, seafood or chopped meats. These types of complete wok noodle dishes are often garnished with soy sauce and spices such as ginger.

Preparation

1. If we opt for natural prawns, we peel them and remove the intestine from the loin. We also cut the vegetables into julienne strips, leaving the zucchini with a little skin.

2. In a wide frying pan or wok we put a bottom of oil and we toss the prawns with a little salt, pepper, minced garlic and grated ginger. We brown them and reserve them on a plate. We put a little more oil to sauté the zucchini, pepper, onion and carrot. Salt and pepper a little and, optionally, season with garlic and ginger. Sauté the vegetables over high heat and stirring constantly, so that they are al dente and golden brown.

3. Meanwhile, boil plenty of salted water and cook the pasta following the instructions on the package. We drain it and cool it with cold water to cut the cooking.

4. Add the Chinese noodles and prawns to the vegetables, stir and sprinkle with soy sauce. Put a little lemon juice, sauté briefly over high heat and serve.
