Great Patty, simple, with good ingredients and an exceptional texture. Kids love it because it's filled with creamy mashed potatoes.
Also has green peas and a lot of tuna. The soft texture of the filling contrasts with that crunchy puff pastry that we like so much. My pie is round but it is also very nice if we use a couple of shaped puff pastry sheets rectangular.
Prepare the mashed potatoes as you like the most, even with Parmesan. The tuna used is canned, in oil. If your tuna is natural, do not forget to add a splash of extra virgin olive oil before putting the puff pastry on the surface.

An original and very juicy pie thanks to the mashed potatoes.

Ingredients
- 2 round puff pastry sheets (can also be rectangular)
- Homemade mashed potatoes (about 8 heaping tablespoons)
- Cooked and sautéed peas (about 100 grams)
- 120 g canned tuna (weight once drained)
- Some milk or beaten egg to paint the surface
Preparation
We grease a baking tray with oil.
We spread one of the puff pastry sheets on it.
On our puff pastry base we spread the mashed potatoes. Salt and pepper if necessary.
We distribute the peas on the pate. We also put the drained tuna. If the tuna is not preserved in oil, we can top it with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil.
We spread the other puff pastry over the filling.
We seal the edges, joining both masses with our fingers.
We prick the puff pastry from the surface with a fork.
We paint with milk or beaten egg.
Bake at 180º for approximately 30 minutes or until the puff pastry is golden.
