Baked potatoes are an easy and helpful recipe when preparing a garnish. With a few legs, oil or butter and salt we are going to make a potato cake that, slowly baked, comes out crispy and golden, ready to sink your teeth into.

This cake is ideal as a garnish for meat or fish roasts.

Ingredients

  • 1,250 kg de patatas
  • olive oil or butter
  • pepper
  • shawl

Preparation

  1. First of all we preheat the oven to about 180 degrees

  2. Peel the potatoes and cut them into thin slices and add them to the water.

  3. Take a round cake tin and grease it with oil or butter.

  4. Drain the potatoes and coat them well in oil or melted butter

  5. Next we are superimposing layers of salted and peppered potato slices in the mold and bake until we notice that the potatoes are crispy but tender and golden.

  6. If we see that they are too dry, we add a little more fat and put a bowl with water in the bottom of the oven so that it creates moisture.
