Fig cookies, with summer fruit

Some good ripe and sweet figs are one of the most exquisite fruits of the summer. Rich in sugars and fiber, figs are one of the most energetic fruits. We are going to make some wholesome cookies for this summer with a few fresh figs. Many of you will save buying them, because perhaps you have friends and family who bring them freshly cut from the garden of their country house.

Ingredients: 250 gr. of flour, 250 gr. of butter, 100 gr. of sugar, 8 figs, 50 ml. cream, 3 eggs, 2 teaspoons baking powder, anise seeds

Preparation: We beat the eggs, butter and sugar well with the rods until they form a cream. Add the flour with the yeast and knead well. Chop the well-washed and peeled figs and add them to the dough together with the anise seeds. We spread the dough, cut it into a cookie shape and put it in the oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 20 minutes or until golden brown. We let them cool on a rack.
