Fruit coulis, sauce your desserts

The coulis is a somewhat thick sauce made from fruits used to flavor and color desserts. In ice creams, cakes or mousses, a good coulis transforms and improves the recipe visually and for taste.

You can use coulis of the same fruit as dessert or contrast with one that combines well with its flavor, for example putting a banana coulis in a chocolate mousse.
