Ingredients

4 green peppers
500 gr of minced meat
250 gr of crushed tomato
1 cebolla
Sal Island

A hard-boiled egg
4 black olives
1 plate of fresh puff pastry

Preparation

We wash the green peppers (please buy them large), and we cut them in half to empty them. We leave them reserved.
In a pan we put a drizzle of olive oil and let it heat up. Add the chopped onion and let it brown. After about 5 minutes, add the previously seasoned minced meat, and let it cook with the onion. Next we add the crushed tomato and stir with the onion and meat until a kind of bolognese sauce remains. Once we see that everything is cooked, we remove it from the heat.
Boil an egg in a pot until we have a perfect hard-boiled egg, peel it and separate the white from the yolk.
In a baking tray we put the green peppers and fill them with the minced meat.
We extend the puff pastry base and make thin strips with it. We are rolling the peppers with the strips of puff pastry, so that they give the appearance of a mummy.
We put everything in the oven and bake until the puff pastry is golden.
With the hard-boiled egg and a black olive, we make the eyes to our mummy peppers.
