The muesli is a preparation for breakfast based on cereals, seeds, nuts and dried fruits from Switzerland but already spread throughout the world. Among the cereals, oats, corn flakes or puffed rice stand out. As fruits we find the apple, the banana, the raisins, the fig and the coconut. Hazelnuts or almonds are some of the nuts contained in muesli, and among the seeds are sunflower, flax or sesame seeds.
It was a Swiss doctor who spread the recipe for muesli as a healthy, nutritious, energetic and satisfying food. In short, a mix of food quite complete in vitamins and minerals, proteins and carbohydrates.
