We cannot let today go by without surprising us with a special recipe. That's why we propose these heart buns.

Heart muffins for Valentine's Day

Ingredients

  • 500 g flour
  • 250 g of water
  • 15 or 20 g of fresh baker's yeast
  • 25 g of butter
  • 5 g of wheat or malt syrup, or honey…
  • A pinch of sugar
  • 1 / 2 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  1. We put all the ingredients in a bowl.

  2. We knead. If it is with the mixer it will be very simple. We will do it with the hook and we will have the dough ready in about 6 minutes.

  3. We remove the hook. Let the dough rest, inside the bowl itself, for about an hour.

  4. We take a portion of dough of about 45 grams. We form a curl with it. We take the two of us to the center to form a heart.

  5. We are putting those hearts on two trays covered with baking paper. We let rise for about an hour.

  6. After that time we bake at 200º (preheated oven) for approximately 15 minutes.

Notes

Rise times are approximate. They will depend on the temperature at home and the amount of yeast we put. The greater the amount of yeast, the shorter the rising time.
