As a personal touch, we are going to add a little chopped chives that will give it a different and very special touch.

Ingredients

  • 4-6 medium potatoes
  • 200 ml of cream for cooking
  • 250 gr of bacon in small cubes
  • Grated cheese 4 cheeses (one package)
  • Ranch sauce of the brand you want, you can find it in the sauce area of ​​large hypermarkets
  • Sal Island
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh chives

Preparation

  1. Peel and cut the potatoes and fry them in plenty of very hot olive oil in a frying pan. While in a saucepan, add the cream and heat until it is almost at its boiling point. At that time add the package of 4 grated cheeses to gratin and stir until they melt with the cream. At that time turn off the fire.

  2. In a frying pan with a little olive oil, sauté the bacon, and when it is sautéed, drain it on an absorbent napkin to remove any remaining oil. Add it to the cheese sauce.

  3. Take the potatoes out of the pan once they are well browned, if you want, to make them more crispy, you can follow our trick to get crispier fries. Drain the potatoes on an absorbent paper, and once they are ready, put them well placed on a baking tray. Salt them and add a little ranch sauce and the cream of cheeses that we have prepared on top. Don't stir them, just let the sauce sit on top.

  4. Next, put a little more unmelted grated cheese, and a few more fried bacon cubes. Put them in the oven to gratin about 10 minutes until they are golden on top. Once they are ready, we serve them on a plate, and decorate them with a little finely chopped and fresh chives.
