How to make a fondant Santa

Preparation

1. We started making the shapes. For the body, use red fondant, and make a ball approximately 25 mm in diameter. Then, little by little, flatten one of the parts of the ball and leave it in the shape of a pear as we show you in the image. With the black and white fondant, make two long strips as if they were spaghetti, the black one will be the belt of our Santa Claus, and the white one will be the white details of the clothes. Leave a black square and a yellow square for the belt buckle. With a point of water you can stick the black square with the yellow, and this square to the black tape. Paint with a little water the entire circumference of our Santa's body, and put the belt around his tummy.

2. Now we prepare the arms and hands. For the white detail of the arms, we will cut the spaghetti and we will take two small pieces. For the red arms, we will make two small squares, and with a brush, we will glue them to the white color. Once we have them glued, we join them again with a point of water and with the help of the brush to our body of Santa Claus. For the hands, make two small flesh-colored balls, flatten them slightly, and with the help of a toothpick make the fingers. Once you have them done, glue them to the arms with water.

3. Glue each of the elements that we have prepared to the body of our Santa Claus and do not go overboard using water, because the less water you use, the better they will stick. Be a little patient and let it dry well so that it sticks.

4. We start with the head of our Santa Claus. Make a small flesh colored ball and a much smaller one for the nose. Take the white fondant, and make a ball. Once you have it, crush it with the help of a roller. And when you have it fine, with the help of the cutter make the beard. For the hat, make two balls and flatten them again. In one of them make a semicircle, and in the other make a triangle. Finally with the black paste, make 3 small balls of minimum size and the third the mouth. Use another white ball to make the tassel of the hat.

5. Glue the nose in the center of the face, and then add the eyes by poking them in with a toothpick. Paste the beard with the brush and put the mouth on it. Next, glue the back of the hat (the semicircle), and add the triangle to the front so that it appears folded at the top. Paste the tassel with the help of the brush as well.

6. Paint with a little red or pink coloring, the cheeks gently on our Santa Claus. Now you only have to glue the head to the body, and you will have a beautiful Santa Claus to decorate your cupcakes, muffins or your favorite sweets.
