I've wanted to make a recipe like this for a long time, and the day has finally come. Yes, I know, this is death by chocolate, but hey, once in a while a little whim doesn't hurt, right? So today I'm going to prepare…. A chocolate cake with Kit Kat and Smarties!
It is a very simple recipe, with a dark chocolate sponge basethat I have prepared with him Nestlé melting chocolate desserts special for desserts, which gives this cake a very special flavor. After baking, I have only decorated it with a few Smarties chocolates of colors, and our personal touch with White Chocolate Kit Kat y Dark Chocolate Kit Kat. Undoubtedly…. Delicious! Chocolate cake with Kit Kat and Smarties

Ingredients
- 250 grams of brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 100 grams of butter
- 150 ml of milk
- A pinch of salt
- 150 gr of chocolate to melt Nestlé Desserts
- 250 gr of pastry flour
- 1 sachet of backing powder
To decorate
- Smarties
- Chocolate to melt Nestlé Desserts
- Kit Kat white chocolate
- Kit Kat dark chocolate
Preparation
We preheat the oven to 180 degrees, while we prepare our chocolate cake. What do we need? Well, first a deep container to make the dough, so once we have it we put the sugar in it together with the chocolate to melt, (previously melted in a bain-marie or in the microwave).
Mix both ingredients well and add the eggs and melted butter. We continue mixing, (we always help ourselves with some rods), and little by little we are incorporating the milk, the pinch of salt, the yeast packet and the pastry flour.
We continue giving the rods so that all the ingredients are well incorporated.
Once we have them, we grease the mold with a little butter and add the mixture of our chocolate cake.
We bake at 180 degrees for 30 minutes. Once the time has passed, we prick the cake with the help of a toothpick, to check that it has been done correctly.
We let it cool down.
Now, we just have to decorate our chocolate cake. As? With the Smarties, with the chocolate to melt and with our Kit Kat.
We melt the baking chocolate, and once we have it melted, we put it on the cake. We do not let it cool down and we are decorating the cake with the Smarties, well distributed as I show you in the image.
Once we have them well distributed, we let the chocolate solidify a bit, (half an hour).
Ready, we will get to decorate with the Kit Kat. So we will melt the chocolate again to melt and with the help of a silicone brush, we will paint the sides of the cake with chocolate.
We cut the Nestlé Kit Kat chocolate bars in half, and we decorate the cake with two colors, black and white, until we finish it.
