This Easter has been very familiar, and we have returned with charged batteries. One of the recipes that I wanted to show you today is this, lamb in sauce as my uncle prepares it, which is to die for. Take note because it is very easy to prepare!

Ingredients

  • 1 shoulder of lamb chopped, about 700 grams
  • 1 potato
  • 1 cebolla
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 Tomate
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 4 tablespoons of flour
  • 1 glass of red wine
  • Olive oil
  • shawl
  • 1 branch of rosemary

Preparation

  1. Peel the garlic cloves and cut them into slices. Then peel and chop the onion. Clean the pepper and remove the stem and seeds. Dice it with the help of a knife and prepare a frying pan on the heat with a little olive oil.

  2. Add the vegetables and brown everything for about 10 minutes over medium heat. Peel the tomato, cut it into slices, and dice them. Then add them to the casserole with the rest of the vegetables and let it cook for about 3 more minutes.

  3. Put a little flour on a plate, salt the lamb pieces and flour them. Add it to the vegetables and let it brown. Pour the wine with half a glass of water and add the sprig of rosemary.

  4. Put the lid on the pot and let everything cook for about an hour. If you see that the wine evaporates, go adding a little more.

  5. Peel the potato and make squares. Add it to the cooker when about 20 minutes have passed. (It will also help you thicken the sauce a little more).

  6. Once you see the lamb is tender and the potato too, taste the sauce, add salt and serve.
