This gypsy arm with lemon gives a refreshing flavor to the breakfasts and snacks of the little ones. Decorated in a fun and appetizing way, this arm can be the perfect cake for a child's birthday.

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 150 gr de harina
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder
  • 150 ml water
  • 150 g sugar
  • 1 lemon (skin and juice)
  • 500 ml cream to assemble
  • 4 tablespoons of powder sugar
  • 4 sheets of neutral or lemon gelatin

Preparation

  1. We start preparing the cake

  2. We mount the eggs with the 150 gr

  3. of sugar and add the sifted flour with the yeast helping us with the rods to mix the dough well.

  4. In a slightly deep and large tray with baking paper we spread the dough and bake it for 10 to 15 minutes at 180 degrees until the cake is lightly golden.

  5. Remove the cake from the oven and place it on a clean, damp cloth.

  6. With the help of the cloth we roll it up and reserve it until it cools down so that it maintains its shape without breaking.

  7. Meanwhile we prepare a syrup with sugar, water and lemon juice

  8. Let it reduce over low heat until it thickens a bit.

  9. Next we prepare the filling

  10. Grate the lemon peel and mix it with the icing sugar

  11. We whip the cream very cold

  12. Dissolve the hydrated gelatin in a little hot milk and combine it with the whipped cream and the lemon and sugar mixture.

  13. We extend the cold cake again and brush it with the syrup

  14. We spread the cream and lemon filling on it and roll it up again

  15. Decorate the arm with icing sugar and whipped cream

  16. We keep it in the fridge for a couple of hours so that the filling sets and the flavors increase.
