I consider being able to enjoy homemade yogurt a real luxury. And the power, in addition, to make flavored yogurts is the ultimate. Today I teach you how to prepare a lemon yogurt without colorings or preservatives.
It tastes like lemon, wow does it taste! and all thanks to the grated skin of a lemon of organic farming.
To the flavored milk we will add one of our natural yogurts and… to the yogurt maker!

Lemon yogurt
Some lemon yogurts without dyes or preservatives.

Ingredients
- 1 liter of milk
- the skin of a lemon
- 3 or 4 tablespoons of sugar
- 1 natural yogurt
Preparation
Put the milk and the grated lemon peel in a saucepan. You can put the skin in strips (only the yellow part, not the white part) but I think grated gives it more flavor.
We add the sugar.
We put the saucepan on the fire, until it boils. When it starts to boil, we wait two minutes and turn off the heat.
Let cool in the saucepan.
When the milk is cold, after a few hours, we strain it by putting it in a bowl or a large jug. The grated skin is no longer going to be needed.
Add the natural yogurt.
We mix well.
Fill our yogurt cups and put them, uncovered, in the yogurt maker. We proceed as we usually do with natural yogurts. I have them 8 hours.
When the time is up, we take the yoghurts out of the yoghurt maker, put their lids on them and put them in the fridge. In the fridge they have to be at least four hours.
And we already have our lemon yogurts ready.
