At home, no one can resist lentils with chorizo. It is one of the favorite dishes of children and it is not for less because they are very tasty.
So that they are only lentils with chorizo (and at most, for those who ask, with a little carrot and potato) what I sometimes do is put a piece of onion and a couple of garlic just to add flavor. I skewer them on a skewer stick and then I withdraw them. In this way I avoid that some children are waiting to find pieces of onion on their plate to put them on the side and in order not to eat them.
The sausages we like the most are the small frescoes but you can use fresh chorizo larger or the dry one used for this type of stew. The important thing is to calculate the amount well so that no one is left without a piece.
