Ingredients

  • 300 gr. macaroni
  • 1 kg of crushed tomato
  • 1 cebolla
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 150 gr. chorizo
  • 200 gr. Manchego cheese
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Sal Island
  • Sugar

Preparation

  1. Peel and chop the garlic cloves and the onion, and sauté them in a pot with a drizzle of oil. Season with a little salt, chop the chorizo ​​and add it to the sauce. Add the crushed tomato, salt and sugar after about 3 minutes. Mix everything well and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes and leave reserved.

  2. Bring water to a boil in a large pot, add a little salt and when it starts to boil, add the macaroni. Cook them for about 10 minutes (according to what is indicated on the package), drain them, and put them in the tomato pot. Remove it from the heat and grate a little cheese on top, mixing everything well.

  3. When you serve them, grate a little more cheese on top. They are delicious and very juicy.
