You can serve it with rice, chips or couscous. We will prepare this round of meat in a pressure cooker and we will serve it with a rich sauce.

That salsa It will be the result of passing the vegetables with which we have cooked the meat through a food mill. It will give flavor and juiciness to our dish.

Stewed meat with onion and carrots
We will prepare a simple round of meat with onion and carrot sauce.

  • 1 piece of round (mine 1200g)
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • Sal Island
  • Pepper
  • 1 cebolla
  • Carrots 2
  • 30 g of white wine or beer
  1. Put the olive oil, the garlic and the meat with its sprig of rosemary in the express pot.
  2. Seal the meat well, turning it when necessary. We salt and pepper
  3. Add the onion and carrot.
  4. After a few minutes, add the white wine or beer.
  5. Let cook for a few minutes and then put the lid on our pot.
  6. Let cook for about 40 minutes but this time will depend on the pot you have at home (you surely know how long it takes for this recipe).
  7. At the end of the time, we pass the vegetables through a food mill or, if we don't have any, we crush them with the blender.
  8. We remove the mesh from the meat and cut it into slices. We serve our meat with the sauce.
