It is difficult for a child not to like chocolate mousse, so fluffy and buttery. What we do have to take into account when preparing the mousse is the type of chocolate that we are going to add, if it is more or less pure and therefore more or less bitter. Today in the market we find chocolates of different percentage of purity easily.
Also dare to make desserts with the mousse itself, combining them with cookies, ice cream or cupcakes.
Ingredients: 150 grams of melting chocolate, 3 tablespoons of milk, 3 egg yolks, 4 egg whites, 3 tablespoons of sugar, 75 grams of butter, salt
Preparation: We put the chopped chocolate and milk in a saucepan over low heat. We are stirring with the rods and when the chocolate has melted we remove it from the heat and add the chopped butter.
Apart we mount the yolks well together with the sugar. Next, we add the not very hot chocolate mixture and we bind everything well. We beat the whites until stiff with a pinch of salt.
Once the chocolate mixture has cooled, we add the egg whites very gently with the rods. We put the mousse in glasses and put it in the refrigerator for four hours.
