Ingredients

  • 3 plates of fresh puff pastry
  • Nutella
  • 1 egg
  • Chocolate chips (optional)
  • Sugar glass

Preparation

  1. Stretch the puff pastry plates and on each one of them put a capita of Nutella. Cut each of the plates in half and roll inwards.

  2. Once you have all the curls made, start forming the ensaimada, making a snail shape with the curls. Paint with beaten egg, and to decorate if you want, you can give it a more fun touch, place some chocolate chips on top of the ensaimada like the ones sold at Mercadona.

  3. Now you just have to bake the ensaimada at 180 degrees for 30 minutes. Once this time has passed, let it cool and sprinkle with icing sugar.

  4. Ready to taste it!
