East cake it's spectacular, with a great orange flavor for citrus lovers. You have to crush the main ingredients to be able to mix with flour and eggs and be able to bake this delicious cake. It is easy to make and with a little yeast you will have this dessert that you will cover with chocolate and almonds.

  • 2 small oranges
  • 200 g of sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 200 g of wheat flour
  • 75 g of ground or whole almonds (afterwards we will crush it)
  • 125 g whole walnuts
  • 15 g baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 150 g of chocolate for pastry
  • A handful of chocolate chips
  • A handful of sliced ​​almonds
Preparation
  1. We started chopping the orange into cubes to be processed and crushed in a robot. In my case I have used a Thermomix for 30 seconds at speed 6.   2. In the same mixer add the 125 g walnuts and we'll shred it too, schedule it 20 seconds at speed 6. We set aside. Orange cake with walnut and chocolate

  5. We prepare a pan in plum cake shape, with a piece of greaseproof paper at the bottom and made to measure so that it can be removed more easily. We pour the mixture into the pan and put it in the oven at 180 ° for 25-30 minutes. To know if the cake is cooked, we will check it with something sharp, if it comes out clean then it will be ready.   7. In a bowl we put the chopped chocolate and we will put them in the microwave to undo it. We will put it in 30 second batches at very low power and stirring in each batch with a spoon. We will do this until the chocolate is melted.
  8. With the cake made and unmould we will cover it with chocolate and we will throw over the chocolate chips and rolled almonds. We let the chocolate harden and we will have it ready to serve.
