We are one step away from one of the nights where people eat the most of the year, Christmas Eve, and how could it be otherwise, one of the protagonists of this dinner is the starters, so today I am going to recommend several easy starters and original for you to surprise this Christmas Eve.

Smoked salmon pate

You will only need 5 minutes to prepare it. You will need to a 150 gr package of smoked salmon, creamy cheese to spread (a 200 gr tub is enough), the juice of half a lemon, a small bunch of chopped dill or chives and sticks to serve the pate.
We will start cutting the salmon into small pieces, and we will put it in a bowl next to the fresh cheese and the lemon juice. We blend everything in the blender until we see that the texture is paté with a pink hue. By last we will serve the pate with a little dill or chopped chives on top, and we will accompany it with toast or bread sticks. It is a perfect starter to start a good dinner.

Crispy cheesy filo pastry sticks

If you like crispy appetizers, this one is made for you, and it will also delight the little ones in the house. To prepare these sticks we will need 6 large sheets of filo pastry, 25 g of melted butter, a tablespoon of olive oil, 50 grams of grated Parmesan cheese, a tablespoon of paprika.
We will start separating each of the pasta masses and we will cover each one of them with a slightly damp kitchen paper. We mix the melted butter and the oil with a kitchen brush and we paint it on each filo dough. Now sprinkle a heaping tablespoon of cheese on top and add a pinch of paprika. We fold the dough widthwise and in the middle, pressing down to eliminate possible bubbles and we are rolling it up to form small cigarettes. Now we cut in half and we are placing each of the sticks on a baking sheet on the baking tray. We preheat the oven and bake them at 180 degrees for 10 minutes until golden brown.

Camembert cheese puffs

To prepare them need, a puff pastry, a tablespoon of olive oil, a small red onion, a tablespoon of balsamic vinegar, half a glass of red wine, a tablespoon of sugar, 100 grams of blueberries and 125 grams of Camembert cheese cut into squares. We started preheating the oven, while we prepare a pan with olive oil and fry the red onion. Add the balsamic vinegar, red wine, sugar, blueberries and cook for about 10 minutes until reduced.
Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into squares. Then bake the puff pastry for about 10 minutes at 180 degrees, until golden. Now cover each square with a small piece of camembert and a tablespoon of the sauce that we have prepared, and put it back in the oven until it melts. Garnish with a little peppermint.

Ham rolls

This is one of my favorite recipes. We will need 6 slices of parma ham, 3 heaping tablespoons of coleslaw, a handful of watercress, a few pickles and a tablespoon of Dijon mustard. We will start placing the parma ham on a board and we will spread the mustard on it. Top it with a small spoonful of coleslaw, some pickles, and the watercress. Finally, season with some black peppercorns. Fold each of the ham slices around the coleslaw and close with a toothpick.

Potatoes stuffed with cream cheese

This recipe is to take it warm. They are some Stuffed potatoes that are delicious. To prepare them we will need about 500 gr of small potatoes, a tablespoon of olive oil, sea salt, a container of cream cheese (Philadelphia type), chive. We prepare a baking tray and put the oven to preheat. We place each na of the potatoes whole and unpeeled and the we bake for about 40 minutes. Once they are ready, we remove them from the oven and when they cool down a little, we empty them. Once empty, we are filling them with cream cheese and finally we give it a heat stroke again in the oven. We decorate the potatoes with a little chives.

Prawn skewers with grilled chorizo

The mixture of flavors is sometimes something that scares us, but this time this skewer of prawns with chorizo ​​will surprise you. We need 12 cooked prawns, 12 slices of chorizo, a tablespoon of olive oil, black pepper, chopped chives, skewer sticks. We start preparing our skewers, we will place a cooked prawn and then the chorizo ​​slice. On a frying pan, we will put a tablespoon of olive oil and we will begin to place each of the skewers. We will cook them on both sides and finally we will decorate with a little chives and black pepper.
