Pasta combines perfectly with practically all the ingredients that we can imagine, so at home we vary the recipes depending on what we have in the fridge at that moment. This recipe from pasta with prawns, ham and mushrooms it is delicious. I made it with a pasta called Radiatori, but you can prepare it with any type of short or long pasta.
Pasta with prawns, ham and mushrooms

Ingredients
- 250 gr. pasta
- 100 gr. of mushrooms
- 100 gr. peeled prawns
- 60 gr. Serrano ham (in cubes or strips)
- 80 gr. of onion
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 40 gr. Of olive oil
- 200 gr. cream for cooking
- 1 tablespoon of rum
- 20 gr. grated or flaked Parmesan

Preparation
In a pot with plenty of salted water, cook the pasta according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and sauté the onion and minced garlic.
Once the onion and garlic begin to poach, add the sliced mushrooms, the peeled prawns and the serrano ham cut into strips. Sauté for about 5 minutes over low heat.
Add the rum and cook for a couple of minutes until the alcohol evaporates.
Add the cream, a little salt and pepper to taste and chopped parsley, stir and cook for a few more minutes.
Add the drained pasta to the pan with the sauce.
Sprinkle with the Parmesan, mix well and ready to serve.
