Although in Spain we are not used to seeing it, potato pizza is very typical to see it in cut-out pizza ovens to take away in Italy. The potato pizza has a mild flavor, since it does not have tomato or too much cheese. It is usually enriched with onion and some aromatic herbs such as rosemary.

Its secret, the cut of the potato, which must be very thin and sliced.

Preparation

  1. We start by putting the pizza base with a little oil in the preheated oven at 180 degrees.

  2. While it browns a little, we finely slice the potatoes and the onion, season them with salt and pepper and brush them with oil

  3. Remove the dough and put the potatoes on a tray until they are tender but not too golden.

  4. Spread the cheeses on the pizza base and place the young potatoes on top

  5. Drizzle with a little more oil, add the rosemary and brown the pizza in a stronger oven.
