Puffed rice, a crunchy touch to your recipes

To make puffed rice, we only need rice, heat, oil, and patience. As an alternative to boiled or stewed rice, puffed rice is a nutritious, cheap, and fun way to eat rice.

After boiling, drying and frying it, the rice is puffed and once cold it can be eaten at any time of the day accompanying multiple dishes. It can be taken alone as an aperitif or flavored with sugar, salt or other spices. In batters or as a topping for desserts, meat and fish it is delicious.
