This pumpkin cream it is perfect for dinners. Easy to prepare, light and with a delicate flavor, little ones like it a lot. And they will like it even more if we serve it with some flavored bread sticks.
In the preparation section you can read how to prepare them but I tell you that it has no mystery. Drizzle of olive oil in a frying pan, brown two slices of pan sprinkled with dried aromatic herbs and then we cut them to make the sticks.
And if you have leftover pumpkin you can prepare ... a cake!
Pumpkin and leek cream
A simple pumpkin cream for the whole family

Ingredients
- 65 g leek
- 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
- 770 g pumpkin
- Water
For the bread:
- A splash of olive oil
- Two or three slices of bread
- Aromatic herbs.
Preparation
We wash and chop the leek.
We put it in the saucepan with the two tablespoons of oil and poach it.
Peel and chop the pumpkin.
We put it in the saucepan and sauté it for a few minutes.
We add water to cover it.
Let it cook over low heat until we can easily pierce the pumpkin with a fork, that is, until it is soft.
We crush our cream.
In a frying pan we put a drizzle of olive oil. When it is hot we put the slices of bread with a pinch of dried aromatic herbs. We turn them when they are golden brown and let them toast on the other side.
We cut the bread into strips.
We serve the cream in small bowls and place two or three strips of bread in each of them.
