Ham and cheese quiche, for dinner!

Preparation

1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Meanwhile, spread the broken dough over the mold in which you are going to make the quiche. Try to make it a medium-sized round mold. Line the mold with the dough, and prick it with a fork so that no bubbles are created when it is in the oven. Once you have it, put it in the oven and let it cook for about 15 minutes at 180 degrees.

2. In a frying pan we put a little extra virgin olive oil, and once the oil is hot, we add the onion. We let it poach in the pan. Once ready, we leave it reserved.

3. While we make the dough in the oven, in a container we mix the eggs, the cooked ham in pieces, the grated cheese, the already cooked onion, and the liquid cream. Add salt and pepper and mix everything.

4. Remove the shortcrust pastry from the oven and add the filling that we have prepared on top. And we decorate it on top with some slices of tomato and a little more grated cheese.

5. We bake everything again for about 20 minutes until the mixture takes consistency and a light golden color.

6. Once we have the quiche ready, we let it cool down, and it will be ready to eat.
