And what about the interior? A great combination of vegetables (red cabbage and carrot) that will be cooked directly in the oven.

Red cabbage and carrot rolls, with filo pastry
With a crunchy filo pastry exterior and stuffed with red cabbage and carrot.

Ingredients
- Some slices of filo dough
- 100 g of red cabbage
- 1 Carrot
- Cumin
- Buy
- Sal Island
- 4 sheets of phyllo dough
- Flax seeds, pipes ... (optional)
Preparation
We wash and peel carrot. We also wash the red cabbage.
Finely chop the red cabbage and cut the carrot into slices.
We put our vegetables in a bowl. We add salt, a drizzle of oil and a few grains of cumin.
We take a sheet of phyllo dough out of its packaging - we reserve the rest in the package so it does not dry out. We divide it in two (if it is a small sheet) or in 4 if it is a large sheet. We will have to obtain strips of about 25 x 15 centimeters.
We brush each of these strips with olive oil and put one or two tablespoons of the vegetable mixture that we just prepared on one end.
We begin to roll the first roll.
We close the sides when we are reaching the end of the strip.
We do the same with each of the strips and we place them on a baking tray covered with baking paper.
If we want we can also brush the surface with a little olive oil to place some seeds on top.
We bake at 200 for 10 or 15 minutes, until our phyllo dough acquires a golden color.
Notes
It is important to keep the phyllo dough sheets that are not being used in the package. This way they won't dry out.
