If rice pudding is one of the children's favorite desserts, in summer they will enjoy it through a nutritious homemade ice cream. In this way, we learn the recipe for this traditional dessert with rice.

Ingredients

  • 300 gr. round rice
  • 300 gr. sugar
  • 1 l. milk
  • 250 ml. cream
  • 2 cinnamon sticks
  • the skin of 1 lemon

Preparation

  1. We first have to leave the rice in water overnight before making the recipe

  2. After the time has elapsed, we begin by simmering the lemon skin and the cinnamon sticks in 750 ml

  3. of milk for a couple of minutes

  4. Now add the rice and continue cooking over low heat, stirring from time to time.

  5. After half an hour, add the sugar and cook for another 15 minutes.

  6. Remove the rice from the heat and add the rest of the milk and let cool

  7. Remove the cinnamon and lemon.

  8. When the rice is cold, we pass it through the blender

  9. We whip the cream

  10. Now we mix the cream of rice with the whipped cream and we can put it in the freezer

  11. We shall and stirring the ice cream every hour.
